Working closely with We Are Lightbox, we’re offering a four-part series of development for a cohort of up to 30 participants. This series is designed to develop current coaching and mentoring practices to empower others to reflect on their personal management of crisis, lessons learnt and how they might replicate successes in the pursuit of recovery and regeneration.
Although a coaching and/or mentoring certification is not essential to attend this development, it would be preferable to have a coaching/mentoring-style approach to how you lead and interact with others, or a keen interest in developing this skill in others.
Each session in the series will be for 3 hours starting on the 21st May and ending on the 5th July. Details on the series can be found below; attendance for all dates will be required.

As there are limited spaces available, by committing to this series, we ask successful applicants to share learning amongst your coach network to contribute towards developing and evolving a coaching culture in the region.

Learn key research and theory that will enable you to apply positive psychology to your coaching and mentoring interactions and gain an enhanced understanding of what resilience is and what characterises resilient people.
Thoughts & Attention
Understand how resilient people direct their attention towards positive and negative experiences and learn practical interventions for supporting your people to direct their thinking in constructive ways.
Motivation and Action
Examine how resilient people cope effectively with challenging life events, and discover how you can promote adaptive coping styles within your coaching practise. Understand effective motivators that can help your people deal with adversity.
