This bespoke series of 5 workshops will be aimed at anyone working in PCNs who would like to improve their online presence, deal with nerves, improve their public speaking skills and overall increase their impact and rapport.

The narrative and performance skills will help you to overcome anxiety and nerves, be more grounded and authentic, deliver a succinct message with impact, decrease the awkwardness of the online space and create a more human approach to speaking at meetings, webinars, classes and other online activities.

Target audience

Those working in a Primary Care Network.

Structure and Content of the Programme

These 5 workshops will run over 5 months, one class a month. We recommend you attend all 5 but you can drop in to individual classes.

Session 1: Presence; overcoming nerves and integrating body and voice

Do you make a good impression when presenting?  Do nerves get the better of you when talking in public?  This 2 hour workshop delivered by storyteller Clare Murphy will help you learn to navigate and manage your nerves, get centred and improve your presence.  This will create more impact, whether online or in person.

Session 2: Voice and Body; learning how to use the body and voice effectively online to deliver with increased impact.

The online space has radically changed the way we communicate.  In this 2 hour workshop we will explore how to best use the space for maximum impact, how to come across more naturally, and staying energised so that voice and body serve the message you are delivering.

Session 3: Story as content; how to use story to improve your message

Would you like to use more story in your role as a manager, teacher, mentor, leader?  Are you confident in telling stories from your life experience?  Story is one of the fastest ways to share ideas, emotions and create strong teams.  In this 2 hour workshop we will introduce you to using stories from your life in your presentations, talks and role.  Presented by storyteller Michael Harvey.

Session 4: Online tips, tricks and techniques, how to look good and increase influence and impact in conversation, meetings, webinars, classes.

The new normal is a tricky space to navigate, conversation is stunted, meetings drag on.  Storyteller Michael Harvey shares tips, tricks and techniques for presenting a clear image of yourself, facilitating online comms, and making the most out of the online format.  Presented by Storyteller Michael Harvey.

Session 5: The Power of Story as a tool for knowledge transfer.

Do you struggle with your storytelling technique?  Do you feel you could use more description, have better endings to your stories, create more impact?  This two hour workshop with Clare Murphy explores the power of personal narrative to elevate your ability to communicate.  We will look at story as an act of transmission, how to edit stories to keep them powerful, and how to shape them to best suit your audience.
