Here at the South West Leadership Academy we understand the importance of providing those with leadership responsibility the opportunity to develop skills in coaching and embedding a coaching style into their leadership and management practice.

Our one day ‘Coaching Skills for Leaders’ programme is aimed at leaders of all levels who have an interest in using coaching approaches to engage and support their teams.
The programme is designed to provide a foundation in the practical application of coaching skills in day to day work, focusing on developing the foundation skills of coaching. The content covers a range of topics, enabling participants to be clear on when a coaching style is appropriate and demonstrate personal confidence in their coaching practice.

Michelle Coles, Michelle had a successful career in the NHS as a human resource professional and leadership development facilitator latterly working as Head of Leadership Development at Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Trust. For the past 3 years Michelle has been an independent coach and leadership development facilitator working in partnership with the NHS.
As well as designing and delivering a range of leadership programmes, Michelle has developed a passion for coaching and mentoring. As an Executive Coach and trained mentor she has worked with a wide range of NHS professionals over a number of years.
