Venue: Taunton Rugby Club
Here at the South West Leadership Academy, our vision is “To develop outstanding healthcare leadership across the South West, in order to improve people’s health and their experiences of the NHS”. Talent and Talent Management are core principles of this leadership.
One of our core objectives is to enable, convene and support whole system talent management and we believe bringing together groups of people who share a passion for talent management is fundamental in delivering this.
We are working in partnership with the HPMA to deliver this event to their members but also to our wider TM network with the aim of building this community of like-minded practitioners.
Moving forward we would like to continue to build this network to meet bi-annually to share, learn and grow – there are some fantastic tools and resources being delivered through the National TM Network and we plan to share these with you as and when they develop.
The event will begin with our guest facilitator Alistair Redgrave from the CIPD who will deliver;
The Wider Context of Talent Management
- Recognise the wider context of Talent Management
- Identify how to translate this to the NHS context.
This will be an interactive session that discusses different contextual views of talent in different types of organisations to help you to relate these ideas back to the NHS context
We will follow this session by providing you with an opportunity to hear from the SWLA. We will be able to share some of the resources being made available through the National TM work, along with our regional work and we would like to take this opportunity to hear from you and you experience with Talent Management in your organisation.
- HR professionals
- L&D professionals
- Those with a passion and engaged with TM in their role.
