13:45-16:30 – Group Peer Supervision
Supervision is a process of housekeeping your approach to coaching and mentoring with the purpose of enhancing the wellbeing, and developing the practice of coaches and mentors at all levels.
It provides a safe and supportive environment for individuals to engage in critical reflection in order to raise issues, explore problems, and discover new ways of handling both the situation and oneself.
Supervision is an essential method for:
- Increasing self-awareness and for monitoring self-care
- Accelerating your professional and personal development, as part of lifelong learning.
- Exploring problems and dilemmas in a safe and confidential environment and obtaining an experienced second opinion on mentoring situations that may arise
- Developing skills and knowledge, and building resilience and confidence.
At the South West Leadership Academy, we have registered coaches who have recently attended an Introduction to Coaching Supervision Programme. They will be supporting us with this event with our aim of providing small group peer supervision.
If you are a trained supervisor who will be attending this event and would be interested in supporting this afternoon session as a supervisor, then please do contact our Coaching and Mentoring Lead email@example.com
