Session 1:  10:00 – 13:00  Successful “Remote” Coaching

Session 2:  14:00 – 16:30  Working with Emotion

Here at the South West Leadership Academy, our aim of improving the capability of our network of Coaches and Mentors requires the opportunity to receive meaningful CPD that enables you to continue to develop your practice.

Our CPD event, on the 19 March, provides you with the opportunity to attend either one or both sessions with a networking lunch to further that opportunity to share and reflect.

Successful “Remote” Coaching: How to Make Coaching at a Distance as (or more!) Effective Than Coaching Face-To-Face

This 3-hour interactive workshop will explore the whys and the practical how-to’s of delivering successful remote coaching. We will examine what holds us back from confident remote coaching, how to identify and blitz blocks and how to transition to skillful, effective, powerful coaching from a distance.

This CPD session will also include a follow up webinar to give participants an opportunity to share experiences, successes, and any challenges, and receive expert supportive feedback to take their coaching expertise to a place where they are equally confident coaching virtually as face to face.

Facilitator:

Dr. Nicola Bunting (MCC since 2006), is a transformational, international executive coach, working with CEOs and their senior teams in FTSE 100 & Fortune 500 companies in 5 continents. Working both with individual executives and teams, she loves developing authentic leaders to their full potential, catalysing peak individual performance, and helping teams move from good to extraordinary. She focuses on creating sustainable, measurable positive change and is the author of the best-selling book, “Who Do You Want To Be? How To Embrace Change And Live Your Dream.”

Working with Emotion

The need to promote positive mental health in the workplace has never been greater and having a resilience to pressure, stress and challenge is an attribute that employers now seek to foster across their workforce.

This workshop aims to help the Coach guide attention to feelings and increase awareness of emotion at work, both as a performance driver and when it presents as an inhibitor to growth.

This CPD session will also include a follow up webinar to give participants an opportunity to share experiences, successes, and any challenges, and receive expert supportive feedback to take their coaching expertise to a place where they are equally confident coaching virtually as face to face.

Facilitator:

Judy James is a professional Coach-Therapist and Executive Coach dedicated to creating lasting change by helping people to make sense of emotion and the part it plays in inhibiting growth, productivity, and performance. Having studied the works of world-renowned thought leaders on Emotional Intelligence, neurobiology and neuropsychology, she has been able to refine her approach to coaching clients to work through their feelings as an effective pathway to behaviour change and building positive relationships.

Judy has more than 20 years’ experience working in leadership, management and consultancy roles within the public sector including the Emergency Services, NHS Trust and the Home Office, as well as commercial experience in the communications and hospitality industries.
